Danny Ramirez began his acting career in 2016 with minor roles in TV series such as The Affair and Blindspot. He later appeared in guest roles in Orange Is the New Black and The Gifted.
In 2018, Ramirez garnered attention with his portrayal of Mario Martinez in Netflix's On My Block and as Diamond in the movie Assassination Nation.

In 2021, he joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) as Joaquin Torres in the series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier on Disney+, a role he continued in the upcoming film Captain America: Brave New World (2025) and Avengers: Doomsday (2026).
